Troll Rally 2025

This year’s Troll Rally was well-run, and for once, the gloomy weather forecast did not hold back. The rally took place in traditional forms, as it has for the past 59 years, and the organizer, MCEK, had, as usual, done everything to make the conditions comfortable. The number of visitors could have been higher, but it is perhaps understandable that some are reluctant to set off when the weather forecast says it will be a soaking wet weekend.

Regardless, those who came could enjoy the rally experience in the usual forms: Good food, good drinks both with and without alcohol, and ample opportunities to meet like-minded people. The selection of machines was varied and exciting, from a 50s Messerschmitt KR200 Kabinenroller to the newest on the market. Visitors also had the pleasure of hearing what an HD sounds like at full throttle and with minimal sound attenuation. The only blemish on the joy is that 2 of the 3 access roads are in extremely poor condition, but the consolation is that money has been allocated to upgrade 355 from Tjønnefoss to Fyresdal.
